Dr. Quinn R Tse, DACM, L.Ac
Dr. Quinn Tse is a licensed acupuncturist and Doctor of Chinese Medicine with over 4,800 hours of clinical and didactic training in Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, and Western Biomedicine. She earned both her Doctorate (DACM) and Master’s (MSTOM) degrees from the Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego. Her diverse clinical experience also includes training at the UCSD Lewis Street Family Medicine Clinic, an externship at TopKare Hospice supporting the bereaved, an internship with Dr. Flowers Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine as well as an externship at UCSD RIMAC Athletic Facility treating sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. She further advanced her practice with specialized training in Japanese Meridian-style acupuncture under Elizabeth Talcott and an extensive internship in Japanese Kampo herbal medicine with Nigel Dawes.
Raised near Oakland, California, Dr. Quinn was introduced to herbal medicine at a young age by her Chinese grandmother. Her interest in acupuncture began in her teenage years as a way to manage anxiety and depression, and deepened during postpartum recovery when it provided lasting relief from depression and back pain. These formative experiences shaped her commitment to integrative medicine and continue to guide her life long interest in healing arts.
Dr. Quinn is passionate about treating a wide range of conditions with special interests in orthopedic disorders, women’s health, digestive issues, mental and emotional wellbeing, substance use recovery, and pain management. With an integrative style that combines acupuncture, herbal medicine, and functional medicine, Dr. Quinn creates personalized treatment plans that support balance, resilience, and long-term wellness.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Quinn is a proud mother to her son, Koda, and caretaker to her beloved dogs, cats, chickens, and her ever-expanding vegetable and herb garden. She stays active through running, hiking, strength training, riding her motorcycle, and gardening. As a committed member of the sober community, she honors a path of self-awareness, balance, and personal growth. A lifelong artist and a practitioner of mindfulness meditation, Dr. Quinn draws inspiration from nature, creativity, and spiritual practice, all of which shape her integrative, compassionate approach to healing.
